At UC Davis, our students not only seek to assist our community partners by giving their time, but also through a number of fundraisers.
Our largest event of the year is the Annual Wine Tasting Benefit and Auction. In addition, we also host several smaller social events or activities to raise money.
In order to encourage students to participate, UC Davis has a Tournament of Champions Competition, in which first years compete against the second years not only on who can volunteer the most hours, but also on a number of other events, ranging from sports tournaments to anything you could imagine.
On average, there is a TOC event each month.
| Competition | Winner | Points |
| Cornhole Tournament | Bryan S. & Brent J. (2nd year) | 100 |
| Powder Puff | 2nd year ladies | 50 |

When looking back at the TOC year, the first year students took the competition by storm - whether it was in athletic, creative or mental challenges.
After a 2nd year victory in Sloshball, they were given a chance to come back. However, superior commitment and fight from the first year crushed any hopes that the few resilient 2nd years had.
Now it is up to the class of 2011 to defend this title next year against the incoming class of 2012.
